Q. Do your windows come with screens?
A. All of our bids include screens with the windows. Some brands have different window screen options so make sure you discuss this with your consultant if you have specific screen preferences.
Q. Do your window installers work for you or do you subcontract the installation?
A. Yes. All of our installers work for Goldfinch Brothers and belong to the Glaziers, Architectural Metal & Glass Workers Local 188 Union. Both journeymen and apprentice installers maintain ongoing education and all lead installers are AAMA Installation Masters.
Q. Will you take away my old windows?
A. Yes. We take away your old windows after completion, during cleanup.
Q. What is the warranty on your windows and does the warranty transfer if I sell my house?
A. Goldfinch Brothers has a standard one-year installation warranty on labor. This warranty does not transfer to the new owners of your house if you choose to sell. Manufacturer warranties for products purchased from or installed by Goldfinch Brothers vary. Some may be transferable and some are not. Q. What is the process if I have a problem with my windows, doors or other products after the purchase and/or installation is complete?
